Glass Stringer Design Plate 2/28, 3/1

Make this beautiful 10 x 5" tray or 10" square plate using sheet glass and stringer glass. You will have two class days to complete your piece. The first meeting you will construct the design element with glass stringer. During your second class, cut the stringer design pieces and place them on your white glass for added design.
All materials are included.
Great way to introduce yourself to making functional art with glass.
Saturday afternoon February 28th from 2-3:30 and Sunday afternoon, March 1st from 2-4 PM.
Open Studio: March & April 2026
If you have taken a glass class at the studio, Heritage Glass Studio will be open for you to make and create with glass. Although this is not a class, Alice, our studio owner and instructor, will be there to give you pointers and feedback. Work with others and to get ideas as well!
Open Studio Times: 12:00-4:00: First Thursdays and Third Saturdays
Use of tools, glue, scrap glass and frit are included in the cost. A variety of sheet glass is available for purchase as well as white and clear tekta glass. You are also welcome to bring your own but please note: we are a COE90 studio, so only fusible 90 glass welcome.
You will also receive a voucher toward the firing of a 10x10 piece. Use the voucher to fire the piece you create during open studio or save the voucher to fire multiple pieces at a later date. Better still, pool your vouchers and share the kiln with your friends from the open studio workshop!
Please bring your own safety glasses; wear close-toed shoes and if you plan to use glass powder; bring a mask or one will be provided for you at an extra cost.
All you do is pick a kit, pick it up from the shop, then complete your project when you'd like. After completing, drop ALL SUPPLIES off at the shop for us to fire up in our specialty designed glass kilns.

If you drop your completed project off on a Wednesday, it will usually be done by Saturday.
